Public Domain - The Future

To all those who advance the cause of "Public Domain" and genuine creative freedom, heartfelt thanks are extended.

Public Domain represents the highest level that a creator can achieve intellectually. Why is this so? Firstly, because one gives back without making demands, and secondly, because this is very difficult for most people. The problem is that most individuals do not attain the intellectual maturity that enables them to recognize their own errors. They often trot after populist and short-sighted perspectives, which will soon be remembered as embarrassments in the history of humanity over the coming decades. These absurd repetitions of folly can be observed by the hundreds in historical records.

It is important to consider the big picture with a broad view and not to engage in any constructs made by human hands, born out of tunnel vision and the usual ego trips of the mind, such as the GPL license. If one enters this GPL prison, not only does one lose control over their own belongings but also complete freedom, and often finds themselves confronted with fanatical egomaniacs who behave antisocially to top it off.

Items released as Public Domain can be freely used without having to waste any thoughts and energy on power games of a few fanatic individuals. Thus, everyone can let their creativity run free and focus solely on it.

Numerous creatives have therefore taken the trouble to reinvent the wheel by developing things that were previously burdened with GPL and then releasing them as Public Domain. These should be particularly appreciated to bypass the fools who think they are the center of the world.
